We have a new web home! You can visit our new website at www.deathstarbattle.com. We also have new forums. You can visit them at www.deathstarbattle.com/forums.

Thanks for your patience while we secured new web hosting and stood up the new forums and website. Unfortunately, the old forums and website were lost when the old web hosting was lost, but this new hosting is stable and secure.

What happened to this? Another project falling by the wayside?

It seems that irl commitments drove away Mr. Ent. He is pretty much the onlyone who can do anything about the website + has access.

Indeed, Ent accepted his position in a life situation that allowed him to spend much time online.
Then, unfortunately for DSB, everything in his life changed (to better) very quickly.

We do not really have any people with the knowledge AND time to work on such things.

As long as someone keeps the thing alive.

Who is paying for the hosting each year? What's to prevent this site from going dark one day and never coming back?

It's paid by same mysterious funder as everything else. I'm not mentioning his name simply because he prefers it that way. It wont disappear just like that, although it is vulnerable to hacking and stuff as it ain't updated anymore so it could turn up as the old website did when Rasher went MIA.
