Hello DSB,

Back Alley Brawl league is over and the final game was extremely tight and interesting. After 4 rounds, Everglaze got their 3rd round victory and became the champion of this BABL league. Crusaders fought hard and reached one round victory but in the fourth round EG was simply too much.

Congrats to Everglaze, GG to Crusaders for making the final series extremely interesting and thanks to all the squads, players and people who participated this league.

What? Are you kidding me? You won exactly due to your strategic playing.
Placing ports at the entrance, and even more importantly, placing ports in and playing safe until you're kicked out,
and then warping in with the bomber was proven way too powerful for us to beat. We just rushed and rushed.
We didn't attack as a team while you always did. I don't know why you are taking that away from yourselves. You
outsmarted/pracced/whatever is the reason us so badly. In addition, all of your team attacked me when I was
emping and we agreed not to protect me in any way - Bad call.

And thank Rock'et for your win, he contributed like 50% of your victory.

Anyway, it was actually the first fun game I have played in over two years. So thanks!
Honestly, I was expecting us to walk over you. You put up a nice fight and I was surprised how good you guys were.
Well deserved victory. The map was extremely good for you though. On that map kemi becomes like any other player,
and I become a useless emper when kemi doesn't have time to finish my emps. I think we lost a half against Vuohet
on that map as well, didn't we?

Have to disagree there on some points. First of all, yes, maybe we placed our ports better and so on but the thing I meant with strategy here was the ships. Like you said yourself burst was very powerful in that little room there. So, in order to get in we needed reps, no problem, but when holding it we should have used x2 bombers like you did (krage). It was almost impossible to break in after taking two bombers. Too bad only pater was a good bomber of us. We would have needed infi to back up. Im better rep than he is but he is like a lot better bomber. Imo, babl's some maps are a lot of like east and that's why I don't like some of them like this one.
Anywho, rock'et/ajks did an excellent work getting us in and repping you out, but rock'ets terr/wb didn't work out really, we thought, especially when locked out ofc.

I also admit that maybe we picked our targets better. Getting you and especially kemi out as fast as possible in locks was important so that you couldn't port/attach in and burst (a lot similiar way to kill beastie in pracs in north because he doesn't leave the port outside the tower of ln). Like you said yourself, you guys should have protected kemi more by attaching and letting reppers go first. This is not taking anything from him or from the team, he or pater was the best player of that match and it evened up a bit when sever, who made that map, hopped in.

And for last. Yeah it was pretty fun after all. But I guess that is because of the fact that we both didn't know the right way to play as a team before this match.

Oh yeah, Rocket's terr was horrible. I can't even remember him playing wb but if he did, that was a waste as well. But when he used repel ships,
he played such a clever game. Fit your purposes perfectly. But yea I agree, at least we didn't have a clue how to play babl because we had
just walked over anyone we played before without any thinking...

Anyway, I'm finally looking forward to the next league.

I didn't see the final BABL match. It now seems EG is the best BABL squad out there, with most BABL titles won and I want to congratulate them about that, congrats!!!
