So this is really 18 GMT and not 18:30 GMT like the last many games?.....

Games start as soon as possible. If a player or a squad experiences problems registering their players, it is our priority to get those handled before the game begins. Nobody is left behind - remember that more the players, more the fun!
If everything goes as expected, games will begin sooner, which is why I encourage squads to fix their rosters or any other issues they have before the games so the veterans do not get mad. :P

As soon as possible? We haven't even been close that so far, not even a little....

If they're experiencing problems they should have logged in earlier.

The more players the more fun might be true, but the longer waiting time the less fun.... And the latter weight a lot heavier than the former...

So what has went wrong in the other 3 games then?.....

Not even the 19 GMT game could start on time.... But then again it is probably 5 years since the last game actually started on time.... WHich is just one of many reasons why people left..

Exactly how many you proprose would leave if we executed the start command exactly at 18gmt or 19gmt when squads are talking tactics, preparing for game, spamming the lost ones who are drifting in the land of afkness, etc. I'm sure especially the younger generation would not appreciate that.

Just deal with it, my main goal is to get every game going on by xx:05 the latest, if some other issues arise, of course it takes longer. :roll:

5 past is fine, but it shouldn't take longer unless it is a problem with
bot or Staff. Any problems the players and teams have amongst
themselves should not result in any extra delays.

The more players the more fun, sure. But as kemi said, the longer it
takes to get the match started, the less fun! One person (or max 2
of his teammates as well) will be happy if you delay the game 10
minutes because he has problems but basically everyone else will be
annoyed that they have to wait.

BH by waiting you make more people leave than anything else... Delaying the games gets more players to play...

I thought even you would have learned that by now...

How long will this league be?

How many games?

Is it a ladder?

Will there be play offs?

If yes, when?

How many times goes to play offs?

Are they best of 3?

Please tell me this is a relatively fast league and not another one of those 4 month bores... :/

This weekend, we will use 2 maps:

First, we will use the new map developed by dral, which was generously made in cooperation with TW.

Secondly, we will use Sever's modified DS map.

To respond to kemi:

I thought this info was posted already, but:
14 matches total;
No? Yes? What do you mean by ladder?;
Yes - top 4 squads from the regular season go into playoffs;
At the end of the regular season;
Playoffs will be either 2 or 3 matches (haven't decided yet) between the top 4 squads using the same standings system as we are using now. The final finish will be determined by the points the squads get.

If it was answered before then I have missed it and am sorry for that.

Seeing that we have playoffs the answer about the ladder would be no. ;)

But good to see that you decided on 2 different maps this week, and perhaps the same next week so we can select THE map for the week after.

Just to make sure I understand this correctly, the playoffs is basically the final(s) right with the 4 teams doing 3vs3vs3vs3?
