I'll create a new league and call it "Testing Settings" or something like that. Should be a good dry run. I haven't yet had a chance to create everything - I'm hoping I'll get to it tonight when I get home from work.

Done. "Test Indi League 2" is set up in ?go dsb with the requested settings. Players must !register with the db bot to be able to play.

Little tip for the future, try giving a little heads up to people, like...perhaps... me, because we just had 8 players for a practice but could not get it started because the bot did not allow some of us to get in. Now that I've discovered your message, I know what was wrong (the db-bot pointing to current sector league instead of the test league) but did not until then. On a secondary note, making the DB-Bot to point at other league means we can not see the current Sector League squadlists and rosters automaticly which is problematic.
