imo have a bunch of game options players can vote on. similar to elim.

1. flags
2. death match
3. football
etc.

also, i think the default game objective should be holding 100 flags, but change it up depending on how many players are playing. like if there's only 6 playing make the objective to be hold the 20 east flags.

I think with the way that people play pub there should be a death match type game at least. The team with most kills wins after x amount of time.
