Private freqs

This past year we have received many complaints about private freqs from both sides. There is a groups of players who think DSB should not have private freqs because it is supposed to be about teamwork here. Others who want private freqs at all times because they want to be any ship and play with who they like.

Currently private freqs are enabled for 9 or less players. The game goes to a 5vs5 and switches to outside spawn when 10th player enters. We went from private freqs all the time, to none at all and this is what we arrived at. At this point the complaints regarding private freqs, from both sides, reduced greatly. Lately with the slight player spike there has been some complaints about not allowing them with 10 plus players. What do you think?

When pub is less than 10 players, it is probably the worst time to allow private freqs. A fledgling team game cannot handle private freqs without getting disrupted too much. Conversely, when you have more than 10 players, the game can probably handle some private freqs because it won't affect the team game.
