Like that we care about law here lol, and no Im not thankful but I also don't think that it's that wrong to take them away. Prolly it's ok if you haven't heard Kassius' own opinion about it. Personally I wouldn't have any problems giving my personal info here.

I didn't notice it until now, having trouble getting to the forums from my iPhone for some reason lately and it's blocked at my work so I can't come here as often as I'd like. Not like it's busy though anyway...

Perhaps some of you don't understand why, fair enough. I did it as a common courtesy as he wasn't present to give his opinion on it. In this day and age things with the world getting smaller and smaller it's hard to remain anonymous on the internet. In my opinion people should still have that right. If he published it himself that is a different story.

As an example, more than 50% of large companies these days search the internet for a persons name as part of the screening process. I've actually seen people not get interviews because of what was on their Facebook profile, also seen folks let go over it. Food for thought anyway.

Actually, any of the biggest companies do not have to do any searches because
they buy databases for marketing purposes anyway. So, they most likely already
have information about you. These databases are collected by companies
specialised in it, who then sell it forward.

I don't want to give my personal information away either, my name or even my interests.
Although I don't want to be over careful, and aren't. It's just that I don't want my profile
to grow any bigger when there is no need for that.

Well of course, you're right there. I was speaking more hypothetically.
It's not like I believed he would sue anyone, moreover win the lawsuit.

Just stating the basic rules... that it's not often wise to publish someone
else's personal information without their permission.
