Forget it, the zone is dead and so is the forum... ent wouldn't do anything

I have tried to approach Ent but he has been rather busy.
However, I am trying to solve the bot problem.

If you are referring to the entire zone, then I cannot really comment on it because I know very little about the subject.
If it's only forums, there a couple of us that have admin here so I think we'll manage.
I managed to end the spam for at least one day now. Let's hope that holds.

What is the purpose of spambots? They seem to mostly put complete rubbish on the forum. Not even advertising.

If the spambots get more sophisticated, who knows what will happen to the internet! The entire content could turn into gobbledigook!

Sever, most of the posts have a link. It might be a harmful link or then it's simply to advertise something as you said.

Cool. Not sure what you did but it seems to be better. Will keep my fingers crossed it stays this way.

All I did was add a Q&A the bots can't answer.
